Art Jam Seeking Muralists

Art Jam is accepting proposals from artists for a wall mural to be painted on the side of the Rob Roy building on School Street.  Proposals will be accepted through February 28th.  Artist(s) must be available to complete the mural during the month of May AND must be available to work on the mural during the Art Jam event on Sat May 20th from 1 - 5 pm.

Proposals must be family friendly and, since it is being painted on a beauty school, must include hair.

The wall space for the mural is pictured right.  The mural would cover the building from ground to bottom of windows (18 feet high) and to the fire escape pictured (29 feet).  Artists are allowed to include the area around the sign & the white brick area in their design but please note that is additional area and not included in the above dimensions.

The selected artist will be compensated commensurate to experience.  Art Jam will provide painting supplies and a lift for painting high up the wall.  Artist will purchase their own paints and will be reimbursed up to a pre-determined stipend.
